Will Weaver is one of the best coaches we’ve ever had in the NBL and outside Brian Goorjian, probably the best overseas coach to ever patrol the sidelines (and understand the Australian game). Things are set to turn around in Brisbane.

@AlanGardne27159 We saw Justin Tatum take a Hawks squad from worst record ever to finish 4th in one season with no changes to local roster. Then, to becoming champions in two with minimal changes to the local roster. Weaver has the ability to do similar things in Brisbane

@aussiehoopla NBL is a league where success depends on mostly your local core. If they dont get decent locals, quality imports will mean nothing. They need way better supporting cast than last previous few seasons.
