@IanMalcolm84 Hi everyone. Sorry to disappoint; I know everyone was looking forward to a podcast tonight at 10 PM, but I think it would be best to put this on hold. I would like to see how things develop with Cornell and whether or not I will have the opportunity to attend in the fall. When I was young, around 8 years old, I had my eyes set on Cornell, after which I planned to become a politician. Given that all eyes seem to be on me, I want to reaffirm this plan, and yes at the young age I was planning out my life. These experiences, and others like them throughout my life, have served to better myself and build values that transcend money or any other material possession. Yes, I am immature, but I am also willing to take risks. Even though, in hindsight, they might not be the most calculated, they are still important nonetheless. This is not to say that I am unwilling to go on a podcast or some other form of social media. I have always believed that politicians must be accountable to the people and share, good or bad, the truth with the constituents they represent. You might get hate for it, yes, but it is better to tell people the harsh truth than a dressed‑up lie. I am sure many of you have realized this as things have slowly gotten worse over the decades, but I don’t want to go there today. What I do want to do is affirm that I will be around, and I hope to be a voice for the people of this country. Regardless of the decisions made here today or in the future, know that even if you disagree with me, I will fight for what I believe is right—not for money, power, or something material, but for the cause itself.
