#Xena rewatch continues with the series finale A Friend In Need Part 2. So much action, love and heartbreak, it truly feels like a movie. Lucy and Renée are flawless, from the acting to the fight scenes. I’ll always wish we got the continuation that was planned. #XenaRevival

@MazMcG03 It surprised me how much I disliked the PG version. It lacked grit and there was no soul. Channel 10 (?! don't remember now) didn't cut it and it was definitely deliberate because the camera angles were different. Not sure what they were trying to do. It was a bold choice.

@ausxip I didn't realise there was a PG version. Not sure it would have been the same...The gore etc was needed but still, would have been interesting to see how it was censored...

@DavesXenaFever That ep redeemed Season 5. I love Xena in warrior mode. Sappy / gooey / OMG what the heck is happening Xena drove me nuts.

Finally continued my #Xena rewatch today with Season 5’s Amphipolis Under Siege. Xena’s classic costume returns, nonstop action, a great story, and Lucy Lawless is absolutely stunning and she’s fully back in warrior mode! ⚔️🔥Renee O'Connor also did incredible in this episode.

@DavesXenaFever The best part of this episode (there is a best part) is the "friendly" kissing between non-lovers X&G :) That's pretty much it. It has moments that I wished someone would have poked me in the eye.

#Xena rewatch continues with Season 5’s Married With Fishsticks. Sadly not a favourite of mine. I love mermaids, but this one doesn’t quite land for me. That said, it has some fun moments and I do appreciate the set pieces.

@MazMcG03 I don't remember the Aussie channel that had it (channel 10?) - they had a PG version of the episodes. I thought if you took away the gore/nudity, it would be okay but it wasn't. It's intriguing that a PG version was produced with different camera angles, etc.
