Our Varsity Softball Team took down Notre Dame Academy Thursday earning an opportunity to play in District competition 5/21 at Oregon Rec at 3pm vs BGHS.

EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS: @SoftballMaumee gets the postseason started with a 12-0 Sectional Finals win over Notre Dame. Maumee: @autgug1, Taryn Pyle, and @taylorsm2026 each went 3-4 at the plate. Smith hit a home run and also had four (!!!) RBI. Reign Hurt, Julia Coutcher, Hannah Ruiz, and Jamie Brooks each had two hits. Each of them had an RBI as well. Pyle also had an RBI. 17 hits as a team. Ruiz struck out seven. Notre Dame: Payton Shively went 2-3 at the plate. Camdyn Escobar and Hannah Schultz also had hits.
