@SinnaPomme Thanks for checking it out. It's an unconventional place to start - I recommend Theft of Swords or Age of Myth, but I know people who have started where you are and they still find it a good read. But do try Legends before listening to book #2 (Farilane). It's more impactful.

@gemmas_twin They are on audible - the titles are just different. Those six books of the Riyria Revelations were republished as three two-book omnibus editions so what you want to pickup on Audible are: - Theft of Swords - Rise of Empire - Heir of Novron

@zach_stich Don't be nervous - there are plenty of new characters to fall in love with - and besides Legends will be necessary reading if you ever want to read "The Cycle" - which will be a post-Revelation's series.

@JessieJam1515 At the present time - I'm not looking too much beyond (a) The Cycle - post Riyria series of 5 books and (b) Lorian's project of three books - After the Fall and (c) Blythin Castle (Riyria Chronicle #6). If I live long enough to get those 9 books, I'm sure we'll know more.

@AlreadyOverbook Doing my best. I'm on Chapter 4 of Blythin Castle (Riyria Chronicle #6). Have 2 books (of 5) of the Cycle completed. And helping my co-author Lorian Ellis, with final edits to book #1 (out of the ashes of After the Fall. So, yeah, more Elan coming!!

@thegnarlygnack @nivenrile True - but it's not an approach I would advise for others. Yeah, it works for me - but I've released 20 books in the course of 16 years (across 4 series). So even though I write all the books before releasing the first, the books do come out at a regular pace.

See, I’ve taking seven years to finish the first book because I’m laying the footing for the other twelve books…
