I tried out a chapter of my WIP at a meeting of @leicwritersclub last night. Much encouraged by the strength of the response. I will press on with it.

I hate this stuff about childless politicians being unfit to serve. Doing the right thing isn’t about doing stuff for your own kids. It’s about doing stuff for other people’s kids. All other kids.

@timmckay52 Check out E F Benson (‘Mapp and Lucia’ Et al). He head-hops continuously and masterfully, sometimes between three characters. Honestly I never noticed it until I knew what head-hopping was. (And the novels are wonderful.)

❓ What makes head hopping so jarring? ❓ And is there a way to pull it off? In theory, I don't mind the idea of multiple POVs in a single chapter/section. I seem to recall it being popular for a time, but now it always throws me off and pulls me from the experience. Tips?

Last night’s @leicwritersclub meet set me thinking about the POV of exposition. I’d *never* considered it before. Writing is an obstacle course, but oh, the learning! #writingcommunity #authorjourney
