Imagine being stolen in the night and forced to give over your body to the king. Imagine that night resulting in a child and the death of your husband. Then the king claims you for his own. Read Bathsheba's story in A Stolen Wife. #BiblicalFictionFriday

While writing A Stolen Wife, I really wanted to put the reader into Bathsheba's sandals. Researching her story, I realized her father was a soldier as well as her husband. With war very present during her life, I can imagine the toll it must have taken on her. #WriterWednesday

ἐνεργουμένη in v. 16 can be translated as "effective". Have you ever felt like your prayers were bouncing off the ceiling? Not that we have the power to change the course of anything but, because of our standing with God, our prayers are effective. #MemoryVerseMonday

Merry Christmas Adam! (A family joke.) Crimson Cord shows Rahab's family dynamic in an interesting light. Sometimes family choices send us down paths we didn't expect. Without her trials, though, Rahab might not have been included in Messiah's lineage. #BiblicalFictionFriday

Rahab's story was such a difficult one to tell. There is a warning that accompanies this tale, but one that is worth reading. This undertaking was made all the more difficult by the fact that this story was my first attempt at Biblical Historical Fiction. #BiblicalFictionFriday

What would it be like to be the sister of Moses? What would it be like to be so close to God yet kept at arm's length? How would you feel after being banished from the camp of your people because of your sin? Read Miriam's story in Wilderness Wanderer. #BiblicalFictionFriday

Wilderness Wanderer literally picks up from the end of Midwives of Moses. As Miriam and Moses meet together, they are interrupted by an issue that led to a grand miracle. #WriterWednesday

James wraps up his letter by reminding his audience why he had written to them in the first place. He so cared for this group of people that he wanted to help them stop fighting with each other and focus on what they could do as a community for the Lord. #MemoryVerseMonday

Puah and Shiphrah were two women whose incredible story is found among the pages of Exodus. In a fascinating tale of redemption and deliverance, God hides a gem of a story about these brave women. #BiblicalFictionFriday

I love working on first lines, but they can be tricky. This month I'll be sharing the first lines of my first series, Faith Finders. Check out the first line of Midwives of Moses. #WriterWednesday

I can't wait to meet a lot of people in Heaven. I think there will be a line in front of Adam and Eve with people looking like this... 😶#MemeMonday

The recipients of this letter had fattened their hearts and minds with the things of the world and, in doing so, starved their spiritual parts. James warns his listeners (and us) to be careful because we do not know what our tomorrow holds. #MemoryVerseMonday

Studying the life of Rebekah helped me see so many incredible acts of God. It's so true that nothing is impossible with Him. #WriterWednesday

I grew up listening to that song and not going to church. When I started going to church and had kids, this became true. 🤣#MemeMonday
