Was wrongly told to do a task @wk. Asked 5X if it was absolutely necessary -still no clarity! 1st answer: 'do that'; 2nd: explanation of what to do; 3rd: 'you 'can' do that'; 4th: 'I'd do that'. 5th -no answer. then i said y not to do it -they agreed😅 #ActuallyAutistic #autistic

Tip #3 for getting boring mundane tasks done: Daydream about the consequences of not doing the task until you get to a bit where you'd rather do the task than have that consequence 😁

Tip #2 for getting boring mundane tasks done: Cultivate an approach that tries to improve the quality of everything you do so you're focussing mindfully on tasks and there's more to it than just the mundane doing of them. I learnt this from this book 35 yrs ago and still use it🙂
