@aspergersgirls I wonder why it took them so long. I was diagnosed with both PTSD and C-PTSD a few months before my #autism diagnosis.

11 years after my #autism diagnosis, I've been diagnosed at age 53 with: Complex-PTSD #OCD #ADHD Jan. 2022 I'm dyslexic, dyspraxic with GAD, EDS, POTS & more. Most #autistic individuals have at least 4 coexisting conditions. Many #neurodivergent #girls slip under the radar

Autistics tolerate a lot of thoughtless comments and negative behaviors. Maybe the most demeaning and disrespectful is when one autistic person is compared to another. Getting to know the person, not the diagnosis is the starting point to building a relationship.
