@sitcomabed Not actively! Remember that while Autism Speaks is problematic, MANY of their ideas have changed as more research and acceptance of autism have come to light. They are not funding eugenics, and they are open about how they no longer support finding a “cure.”

@autismspeaks I'm 32 and after neglect and embarrassment from my parents I'm finally able to trust drs/therapists and recently was diagnosed with adhd and aspergers. I'm learning to cope and start my speech pathologist next week. I haven't been able to hold jobs or conversations. I'm not lazy.
