@RoshanaMN I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Started to work in ICU this January. Took part in proning an intubated patient for the first time.
And within a second my soul was crushed.
And I felt the exact same that I need to keep looking ...
A part of my soul is still screaming.

I was saying to a colleague that our daily time on ICU proning breaks my heart
I see the patients faces over and over in my head
For a moment I think I should look away and then remember to keep looking, because each one is a son, father, husband, wife, mother or daughter

We have heard from 6 doctors in different workplaces that they have been told to bin ‘waste’ vaccine doses at the end of the day instead of giving NHS staff 2nd doses
It is v difficult for doctors to speak up in the media. We are handling this carefully to protect identities.

One of my pet dislikes is any SF outside of Star Wars where people still use swords. If I'm watching a show with nuclear powered ships and energy weapons and someone whips out a katana, I'm out. I can't handle the silly. Star Wars gets a pass because it has actual space wizards.

ONS, breaches, + teachers: THREAD Today I reported an ONS breach to the UK Statistics Authority. Two breaches in fact: one regarding an “ad hoc” analysis on education staff in part 9 of the 6 Nov ONS covid survey pilot, and one for a related 3 Nov government leak. 1/
