Extremely long line to re-enter the airport. Not sure when the airport will exit the lockdown.

Crazy scenes at the San Diego airport @SanDiegoAirport. Was about to board a flight when all the announcements went silent for a few minutes and heard the announcement to evacuate the airport. Heard chatter about a security scare.

@pastatongue @jenn_meyer There was a security breach at the airport. They are still still evacuating the flights and the airport. Super long line to re-enter. No idea when they’ll start that process

@jenn_meyer Thank you. My mom said they are letting people back in now. Someone else on here said there was a security breach on an incoming flight but I don’t know what that means

If anyone has any news on why the San Diego airport is being evacuated please let me know. My mom is there now and she doesn’t know and we are scared

In line for TSA, all flights grounded and TSA / security on a pause at San Diego International Airport. No updates as to why yet.

Terminal has opened - source from friend of passenger on a plane coming in. Exit has been opened for people to leave into the halls / between gates. Machine beeps have been sounded - sounds like a good sign. Passenger in line with me talking with pilot that was security.
