@TheRealJamieKay The bible also states to obey those who have authority over you, ie, the laws. So yes, if you are in the country legally, then yes, you will be treated like those who are also citizens, because you know why right? You would be a citizen if in the country legally..

Funny how these ‘patriotic Christians’ never seem to follow this part of the Bible. Leviticus 19:33–34.

@Frank66_ How did the Boomer cause the inflation? Average people cannot control inflation. It’s government overspending that is a big part of the cause.

This is 100% accurate. The boomer says “why are young people paying $28 for lunch? THATS why you’re struggling” The same boomer, would go out to eat and get the same meal for $11.49, in his day The boomer spending $28 on lunch, in his day, would have been extravagant spending. The boomer cannot comprehend that the same $11.49 sandwich, drink, and fries he would get on his lunch break, now costs $28 They simply cannot comprehend it. Boomers can’t conceptualize the inflation that they themselves created
Crispr (Third-Worldist) 🌍📉@CollapseAnime

Going out to eat used to be cheap, that's the thing nobody wants to mention. Boomers went out to eat all the time while paying mortgage and buying toys and going on vacation.

For dinner tonight, @buttonslives and I are having pork chops, rice, and asparagus. We make this probably 2-3 times a week. It's delicious, and extremely affordable. Food and Cost: - 1.37lbs of pork chops @ $2.99/lb = $4.10 - 1* serving of yellow Minute Rice = $1.10 - 1/3 bag of Costco asparagus = $2.16 TOTAL COST FOR 2 PEOPLE: $7.36 *Christina didn't want rice tonight This took less than 30 minutes to cook. Asparagus goes in the oven. Pork is seared on a cast iron pan, and finished in the oven. Rice is cooked in the microwave. We eat a lot of pork because we like it and beef is really expensive right now. Some nights we have steamed broccoli instead of asparagus. Some nights we have mashed potatoes instead of rice. I cooked Indian last night. We cook a lot of stir fries too. Unless we're treating ourselves to a ribeye, our dinners don't cost more than $5 per person. People who say food is too expensive are just too lazy to shop smart and cook at home.

@kreme8727605 Nobody denies the charity work. Tupac’s issue was that most of it wasn’t seen as directly uplifting Black communities or speaking to Black struggles the way he felt someone with that level of influence could.

Tupac on Michael Jackson in an interview in 1992: "How you gonna sing about healing the world when you're sitting on a quadruple billion dollars in a gated mansion while your own people are starving in the gutter?. I ain't attacking his talent, but fame makes you forget the struggle. Once you reach that level, who are you really living for?"

@Lee416629 @melisizm0 @Elifbenad I had an allergic reaction to pork i had eaten, its because the pig had antibiotics not long before it was slaughtered, and was passed on to me through the meat because pigs cant sweat or remove the toxin from its body. I almost died, so never again have i eaten pork products.

@melisizm0 @Elifbenad Many people see pigs as one would look at a fly. I say this as a farmer/rancher's daughter, but pigs don't sweat. Toxic stuff they eat can be passed to us. Pig's will eat anything even garbage & their own kind. They cut the tails off baby pigs or they eat each other's tails.

@Idontgive2u Too be honest, its not on your parents to pay back your credit card debt, the onus is on you for that one for making a poor financial decision.

@PiperGrey3 @OneTwo10221143 @Idontgive2u The boomers forget to mention that their interest rate was relative, what was their savings account interest rate during that time? Also, id much rather pay off a mortgage at 10% interest when the mortgage is only 3:1 of my income. Instead we get 5% at 10:1 income.

@OneTwo10221143 @Idontgive2u No, that’s not true at all. Research has been done on this. Most Boomers had lower wages & 8-12% mortgage rates. It wasn’t always easier ao research it.

@jonbrooks You doing the repairs yourself voids all warranty on the new part. Insurance wont pay out if and when the work you did causes a fire. Just because you can doesnt mean you should. Tradespeople are trained and usually licensed to do the work. But unfortunately not all are honest.

Everyone keeps saying “go into the trades.” I get it — but here’s my real experience: Called a local company to fix an icemaker on a 2007 fridge that still runs great. Tech shows up. Takes a picture. Can’t fix it. Charges $99 just for showing up. Then quotes me $1,300 to replace the icemaker. So I do what everyone can do now: I ChatGPT the model number. In 2 seconds: • Exact replacement part • Direct phone number • Cost: $300 Installation? 2 screws. 10 minutes. I’ll do it myself. Same thing happened with my pool heater: Repair guy quoted $2,000. I bought the part directly and fixed it myself for under $200. The problem isn’t the trades. It’s that information asymmetry is gone — and some businesses haven’t realized it yet.

@its_The_Dr When people read 5 for $1 it sounds like a better deal because they have been indoctrinated that way. But the fact is, the deal is the same, just like how a right handed and left handed pencil are also the same.
