@snuffbaitmutt Yeah I get you, my main focus was the individual reading (whoever they may be) rather than society as a whole, so since theres people that could benefit from unpacking their shid I directed this at those, therefore I get your critique but I dont think it necessarily fits
@averytiredguy I'm talking about society as a whole and what people were taught and internalized like sexism, cissexism, racism, fatphobia and allat.
of course the expression of those internalized biases is varied and is rarely homicidal, but that's where they come from.
@averytiredguy Usually it's because no one wants to be forced to say and do things that aren't true. Narcissistic frame, btw, but that fits about what one would expect.
@snuffbaitmutt Theres also more to be said about how a threat to the system has a psychological impact and how many who benefit from it in some ways are still lying to themselves about how much it also harms them, but that's a broader conversation
@guindorualt Yeah while she still knows nothing of intersex and very little of trans she did assume bisexual means BOTH SEXES for someones identity rather than sexuality so that's where her comment came from
@averytiredguy maybe she found the older meaning of the term bisexual somewhere because it used to mean basically what intersex is now thus the confusion
