@0xSero Which models do you find yourself using the most? In what modes?

Droid is the best agent harness based on outcomes, closely followed by Codex. I have stopped using everything else, mostly except for a few one offs. I would highly recommend trying it out with BYOK + VibeProxy github.com/automazeio/vib… You can use all your subs in there

@mikeysee No way. If anything linters, formatters, basically anything that can apply deterministic backpressure on the agents will become more important. If anything I think we're going to see increased usage of custom ast-grep rules, custom lint rules, etc.

I wonder if we will see the usage of tools like Prettier decrease in the age of vibe coding 🤔

Serious question to @claudeai or @bcherny . Why don't you open-source the CLI? The custom system prompts? Your main product is Opus (imo), not the CLI.

@dexhorthy Technically ctrl+b but I have my terminal set to have cmd+key send various key codes. Cmd+n = new tab, cmd+p tmux session manager, etc

@danielbergholz if you're ash pilled you should checkout #3-generate-types--use" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/ash-project/as… . it's basically trpc + all the goodness of phoenix/ash

You know you can skip all the latest react.js drama by just using inertia right? No "use client", RSC, breaking changes, just good old client-side react. Life could be simple

@PhilippSpiess as much as i love rails & phoenix, if it's an llm/agent heavy app i'd use convex + vercel's aisdk + whatever flavor of the month frontend router/framework you prefer.

@mwarger would be really interesting to hear why. if anything i've found more success leaning into eslint custom rules as a way of enforcing the llms following certain patterns. i've found it way more effective than praying they following what in AGENT(S).md

I might just remove eslint. I think LLMs will handle it.

@avi_turetsky @avi_turetsky Unfortunately, no immediate plans to support neovim. Currently we are trying to prioritize the improvement in quality and latency of Amp Tab even further.

Amp Tab now uses a new, custom model to provide better completions. We rebuilt our training dataset with synthetic examples and used DPO post-training on top of SFT. The model learns from its previous bad outputs as negative examples alongside synthetic ground truth as positive examples. See how follow-up edits work better now - deleting a proxy variable triggers proper completion chains, fixing the constructor and updating the header.

@ryancarson Some type of harness (mcp?) that would give the agent access to arbitrarily specified logs + access to my current window/tab.

@th3mus1cman Tidewave is a game changer, it made the entire elixir ecosystem S tier for the AI era, winning against giants like the JS ecosystem

I chose React for my frontend mainly because of better AI-generated code. Ever since tidewave was introduced, liveview has gotten 1000% better. My next saas will no longer use React. And I'm strongly considering rewriting my current one from Inertia to LiveView

@src_rip Sounds like you’re describing docs.cursor.com/en/tab/overview to a T. Honestly, it’s the only reason to use cursor anymore and what got me to move away from vim in the first place. My kingdom for even a 80% as impl in neovim.

I think one of the remaining missing links in the ideal editor experience with AI is some kind of automatic suggestions that take place without me prompting the llm. Something where like, the llm could just be constantly watching my edits and jump in when it sees a problem.

@pattrnmatch FluxonUI has been great. I think @andrielfn is currently working on some theme customization features for it which will push it over the top.

What's the best Phoenix Liveview UI kit? I have heard about Chelekom, FluxonUI and Petal but not sure what would be the best option that provides flexibility and best practices. #myelixirstatus

@jonny_raney @AmpCode i (and i assume many other people) will literally throw $500/month at you if you can get something 85% as good as cursor tab working in (n)vim

For all my vscode peeps, Amp Tab is here @AmpCode 😎
Tom Ross@umpox

While @AmpCode is great for large, agentic coding sessions… Sometimes you need to make surgical edits to the code yourself. We’ve enabled more fine grained suggestions in Amp Tab, so you can now Tab through a refactor and view each change carefully
