@Kidfears99 Last night I had the beginnings of DKA and ended up in the ER at work. After lots of fluids and improving blood sugars they were discharging me home. The doc on discharge said, “you know your body and your diabetes better than anyone here” and I nearly fell off the bed!

“So how are your blood sugars?” Right this second? Last week? WHEN bc they change constantly. Would you like a range? Do you even understand diabetes?

I had just crossed into the center lane when I was hit from the left side by a driver traveling 40 mph in that turning lane. If he was illegally in that lane HOW AM I AT FAULT?!? Any idea how to fight it?

I was making a left turn, crossed the two lanes of stopped traffic that had left my intersection open and was turning into the center lane. I looked left…traffic was stopped. I looked right to make sure there was no traffic coming down so I could continue into the travel lane.

Got a call from my insurance that I am responsible for the accident I was in DESPITE the other driver traveling in a lane was not supposed to be traveling in. The accident occurred at the intersection that is circled. Traffic was stopped for the light, over 500 ft, a block away

Going to see the future VP

My nephew’s adoption was finalized this morning and we, extended family and friends, got to watch via zoom. It was such a joyous occasion! I’m so happy for my brother and sister in law and sweet nephew!

It’s 4 o’clock and I am hoping and praying this gosh darn baby gets their act together because I really don’t want to have to go back to the OR tonight. Come on baby! 3 more hours.

My cousin’s 5 year old learned a dance routine at camp and taught it to my 14 year-old, soon to be a high school freshman, nephew. Bless that boy because he then got up and danced with her at our family party. He’s just a great kid!
