Africa is coming strong.
If all goes well, Kenya and Tanzania could be the first proud beneficiaries of 5,000 MW power from Ethiopia through East Africa Electric Highway comes 2026. Kenya and Tanzania will receive upto 2,000 MW from Ethiopia.
This will accelerate production through powering industries in both countries and will generate up to $200m annually for Ethiopia. East Africa Electric Highway is apparently supplying limited power to Kenya before it's put to full scale expected in 2026.
Africa needs to work together to achieve such big projects. Nigeria and South Africa should bring something as big as this.

@swahilidon @africatodayMG @grok Yeah true unfortunately Tanzania lacks the distribution channel for the demanded power to accommodate more Tanzania in the Grid, it's cheaper to buy from Ethiopia and use Kenya Distribution system to Tanzania sides bordering Kenya.Than doing a whole new distribution system
