@avlaborcorp @YETICoolers We’ve got a few hard coolers, all ingloo stuff. It’s mediocre at best. But I don’t expect much from them.
I’m looking at a big hard cooler but also would love a soft cooler for travelling. But I’m not sure I can justify the cost if it’s just gonna suck.

So who actually uses @YETICoolers? I’ve got a bunch of the drink ware and love it but having a hard time justifying a cooler from them. Especially the soft sided stuff.

@mattdscott @YETICoolers Another brand that is getting attention is Lifetime Coolers. American made, decent quality, middle of the pack for ice keeping. Solid with a nice latch design.

@mattdscott @YETICoolers I've got a Pelican cooler from my motorhome days that will hold ice for a week. Massively heavy so I avoid using it unless I really need ice to last. The Rtic lite series gets reports of holding ice for up to 4 days even on an open deck in 90 degree heat and is pretty solid.

@robert96354 @chris_neto I work for a lot of big intergrators with all sorts of services. The reality for most, is these are silo's of resources, unavailable to all but the biggest clients that are willing to pay. Average clients fend for themselves. #AVinTheAM

@chris_neto There appears to be an odd corporate cognitive dissonance when it comes to outfitting remote workers. AV gear tends to be self funded-not purchased by the company. Last job, none of the finance team in Mexico reporting to the office had cameras for their CPUs.🤦♀️#AVinTheAM ☕️

@victoria0429 A speaker company known for doing this once bid a job at my former employer. We were a large national that sold a lot of their speakers. Shut them off completely for 6 months refusing to add there brand to bids. Told them it ever happened again we would drop them. It never did.

@robert96354 @chris_neto I'm representative of only my company and business model. It's laid out clearly in the name. 3rd party labor typically engaged at the sales end for bid. PM doesn't generally pick us, as we have already pre-bid the labor before assigned. It's a "partnership" thing. #AVinTheAM

There are general guidelines for ea termination sometimes used, PM also do not get to select on site install team is usually who's available.#AVInTheAM

@barryjgrossman @chris_neto I'm primarily in the fixed bid world so scopes need to be clear or bids are written with conditional provisions. PM messes up the job to the point it's significant or scope creep sets in, change order. #AVinTheAM

@JosiahWay Figuring you are paying them to vacuum and dust but probably not sort and organize your work items. At least with my office, there is everything from tax, finance and work documents spread out. If you are an organized person, why would she be asking?
