On this Memorial Day, my heart feels heavy as I remember my brothers and sisters I served with who never made it home. We honor their ultimate sacrifice by standing up for the principles that unite us as Americans, defending our God-given freedoms, treating one another with aloha—respecting each other as children of God—and always striving for peace. Never forget. 🇺🇸

⚠️ URGENT CALL TO ACTION: HOLD THESE 5 TDS TO ACCOUNT REGARDING LACK OF RESPONSE TO MURDER IN THEIR COMMUNITY Below is a firm, direct draft you can send to these Dublin West TDs: Roderic O'Gorman GREEN PARTY Minister Jack Chambers FINE FAIL Paul Donnelly SINN FEIN Emer Currie FIANNA GAEL Ruth Coppinger PEOPLE BEFORE PROFIT. It clearly calls out the perceived double standard in how certain high-profile deaths are handled versus the silence on Alex’s murder, and specifically notes the physical proximity of the incident to their doorsteps. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ADD YOUR OWN NAME AT THE END OF THE EMAIL. EMAIL ADDRESSES & PHONE NUMBERS IN COMMENTS. HERE IS THE LETTER: SUBJECT: Explanation Required Over Lack of Response & Absence at Vigil for Alexander Coughlan Dear Deputy, I am writing to you today as a resident of Dublin West to express my profound disappointment, anger, and disgust at the complete lack of public solidarity and response from our local representatives regarding the horrific murder of Alexander Coughlan. On Sunday, May 17th, Alex was subjected to a brutal, unprovoked assault on Mill Road in Blanchardstown in broad daylight. He tragically died from his injuries. This happened in a central, heavily populated area of our community in the daytime. In fact, for some public representatives in this constituency, this fatal attack occurred adjacent to where they live. On Sunday, May 24th, roughly 500 local residents gathered on Mill Road for a silent vigil to lay flowers, light candles, and stand in solidarity with Alex’s grieving family. The local community showed up in droves to express their shock and sorrow. Yet, there was a glaring, deeply upsetting absence: not a single Dublin West TD attended the vigil or has meaningfully highlighted this devastating loss and the severe public safety failure it represents. The community notices the disparity in how public tragedies are handled. When other prominent or high-profile incidents occur, representatives are quick to make statements, assert claims, and demand immediate accountability. Yet, when a local man is horrifically taken from his family right on our doorsteps, the silence from our public representatives is deafening. As an elected representative for Dublin West, your primary duty is to represent and protect the people of this community. I am requesting a direct answer to the following questions. I do not feel protected nor represented. Why did you choose not to attend or send representation to the community vigil for Alexander Coughlan on Sunday? Why have you failed to publicly highlight or address this shocking act of fatal violence in your own constituency? You are a well paid elected representative. Paid by the tax payers in this community. I require an explanation regarding your lack of engagement on this profoundly serious matter. What immediate, concrete actions are you taking to address the escalating safety concerns of residents in the Blanchardstown and wider Dublin 15 area? The community is grieving, and we feel utterly abandoned by the people we elected to represent us. Alex’s family, and the people of Dublin West, deserve far better than political silence. I look forward to your prompt response and I will not be letting this matter go unanswered. Yours sincerely, [INSERT YOUR OWN NAME]

Found out today that some friends of ours, trads, have only one kid left practicing the faith because the kids grew up to run from the overly strict moral views of their parents. Begging you good folks to make our faith first about encounter and friendship with Christ and to avoid being too strict and imposing more than the Church does. I’ve seen it break so many over the years. Let your kids enjoy things, provided they are not sinful. I’m begging you. Don’t wrap your own hang-ups in the Catholic identity.
