I have some personal news! I'm starting a new challenge: I will provide Marketing & PR services to @bitfinex and @tether with a focus on Latam and #Bitcoin From my point of view, taking these great opportunities, I'll be able to continue doing what I've been doing since I started in the industry in 2017: to help my fellow Latin American people to better understand what Bitcoin is and how we can take advantage of it, and get rid of the corruption of our local systems, so we all can be able to join an open and global network of peers. I know that it's possible that some people find this weird, especially since I've been a vocal maximalist/Bitcoin-only guy since 2019 when I started to get more known in Venezuela and beyond. To be honest, after listening to why they chose me and what they're looking to achieve, I'm more than confident that what I think about Bitcoin and how I embrace it is totally aligned, not only with their goals but also with what many of the team members think: that Bitcoin is a sui generis thing; that it's impossible to replicate and that it's what really matters; even more than the business and the companies. And I'm down for it. Also, after years of sponsoring the #HablemosDeBitcoin podcast, @hodlhodl is leaving it. I really want to take a moment to thank a lot for what they've been doing for me and @satoshienvzla's team, allowing us to operate almost since the project was a tiny idea. We will continue the @LaBitblioteca initiative, thanks to the @geyserfund grant we won and the support we're receiving in our campaign. Kinda sadly, if things don't change, I think that I'll end the pod and maybe shut down SeV until we reach new sponsorships agreements or find a way to monetize it. It's been a really awesome ride. SeV is my little child and effort; it's the way I felt that I contributed something to Bitcoin and allowed me to work with great people like @Altafacha69, @gatobotz, @joc_ra, @ecazes, Beatriz, and more, but it's also great to know when is time to say goodbye, even if it hurts. I'm not saying that it's over yet, but well, it is what it is lol. That's it! Let's goooo!
