On this Day 44 years ago, I was born in the little village of Jinkfuin, which typified the common traditional African setting. A child belonged to the community. Daylight is upon us. Let our value and usefulness shine through #InnovativeVolunteerism on this day.

Today, the Cameroon Association of Anthropologists was created in Yaounde-Cameroon during a 2-day Constituent Assembly. An Executive Bureau was elected headed by Professor Paschal Kum Awah. Pr. Paul Nkwi chaired the event. I thank the participants for empowering us to lead them.

@AnneNjom Dear Anne, I am happy to have you speak openly about unsafe abortion. As a global advocate, I will support actions that will enable Cameroon reduce unsafe anortion maternal deaths. Unsafe abortion deaths are careless deaths and we should be ashamed with a 25% score.

Was attending as ACAFEM a meeting on advocacy for comprehensive abortion care today. Did you know that abortion may account for 1 in 4 maternal deaths? In addition the mortality rate of unsafe abortions is 25%. We should stop it !!!
