I don’t live in this town but do live near it and I can say without hesitation we don’t care what others think or say. We have been stereotyped, disrespected, insulted and mischaracterized by media for decades…. Point being, we stopped concerning ourselves with others a long time ago…. More importantly is the fact that most Alabamians have strong convictions regarding our heritage, culture, country, rule of law and societal norms … we are students of history considering how much false “history” is applied to us and with having immense interest and n history we can extrapolate past actions to conclude future outcomes … specifically w Islamic ideology and proclamations made by Muslim leaders that are Anti-American, Anti-Alabamian, and irrational. Most people have never researched MOHOMMED or the ideology that is Islam… if people would educate themselves the debate would cease rather quickly based on indisputable facts. Yes, communities have a right to implement “self preservation” measures :.. anyone disagreeing needs to stay away… simple as that
