On the conclusion of the 1st International Festival of Date Palms in Ethiopia, which was held in our region, I thank Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, affiliated with Erth Zayed Philanthropies Foundation, at the Presidential Court in the UAE.

Congratulations to all Ethiopians on another milestone in our journey toward food security and agricultural transformation. Today, we signed the Fertilizer Complex Shareholder Investment Agreement between Ethiopian Investment Holdings and Dangote Group. With an investment of $2.5 billion, this mega project will produce up to 3 million metric tons of fertilizer annually, placing Ethiopia among the largest producers globally. This project will create jobs locally, ensure a reliable fertilizer supply for our farmers who have long faced challenges, and mark a decisive step in our path to food sovereignty. It strengthens Ethiopia’s competitiveness across the continent and reflects our commitment to executing strategic investments that serve our people and our future. Following today’s signing, we will officially launch the project on site. We have started this journey, and we will finish it for our farmers, for our economy, and for Ethiopia’s future.

ዛሬ የምንተክለው ችግኝ ብቻ ሳይሆን የምግብ ሉዓላዊነትን ጭምር ነው። አረንጓዴ አሻራ ኢትዮጵያን በዓለም አደባባይ ከፍ ያደረገ ነው።

በአፋር ክልል ገቢ ረሱ ዱል ኤላሳ ወረዳ የተገኘ ውጤታማ ምርት። ባለፈው አመት በዚህ ወቅት የተከልነው ችግኝ ዛሬ ምርቱን ለገባያ በማቅረብ ላይ ይገኛል። ቃልን በተግባር ! አፋር በማምረት ላይ ይገኛል።

የተቸገሩ ድጋፍ ለሌላቸው እናቶች ቤት የማደስ ስራ አስጀምረናል። በጎ ተግባራትን በማከናወን ጠንካራ ተሳትፎ በማድረግ በጎነት ባህላችን ሊሆን ይገባል።

የህዝባችንን የምግብ ዋስትና ለማረጋገጥ የጀመርናቸው ለምግብነት የሚሆኑ ከእርሻ ልማት ስራዎች ላይ ጥሩ ውጤት እየታየባቸው ይገኛል።

በአይሮላፍ የሚገኘው በእንስሳት የሳር ባንክ በጠንካራ ስራችን ያገኘነውን ውጤት አጠናክረን ልንቀጥል ይገባል,  ያለንን የእንስሳት ሀብት ባግባቡ ለመጠበቅና ጥሩ ምርቶችን ከማግኘትም በተጨማሪ ሳር ኤክስፖርት በማድረግ ጥሩ ገቢ ለማግኘት ችለናል።

I met  with Ms. Betty Xu President of the Ethiopia-China Friendship and Cooperation Committee and her delegation who visited different places related to mining and other natural resources in our region.We have signed an agreement to invest in mining and other sectors our region.

Pleased to meet with Mr. Paul Handley, Head of Office, OCHA Ethiopia, at my office and Had a fruitful discussion on strengthening humanitarian and resilience response to IDPs and affected populations by manmade and natural disasters in Afar region.

ሀገራችንን ለማልማት ለግብርና ያለንን አመለካከት በመቀየር ያለንን የተፈጥሮ ሀብት በመጠቀም ጠንክረን ተባብረን ማልማት ይጠበቅብናል። አፋር ገቢ ረሱ የሙዝ እርሻ,

አፋር አዋሽ የማሽላ እርሻ ልማት, ለልማት የተዘረጋው ክንዳችን ሀገራችንን ከከፍታ ሳናደርስ የማይዝሉ ክንዶች ይሆናሉ።

ለሀገር ነጻነት ደማችንን በማፍሰስ የምንከፍለውን መስዋትነት የምግብ ዋስትናን ለማረጋገጥና ከድህነት  ለመላቀቅ ላባችንን ማፍሰስ ይጠበቅብናል። በላባችን ሃገራችንን መፅናት ሁለንተናዊ ብልጽግናን ልናረጋግጥ ይገባል። አፋር አዋሽ እርሻ.

የሰንደቅ አላማ ቀንን ስናከብር  የሀገራችን መለያ በመሆነው ሰንደቅ አላማ ፊት ለብሔራዊ አድነታችን ለሉአላዊነታችን ና ለኢትዮጵያ ከፍታ ሁላችንም እጅ ለእጅ ተያይዘን ሊሆን ይገባል።

ጳጉሜ 3 የሉአላዊነት ቀንን በጥልቀት የሚረዱት የመስዋእትነት ቀን ከሚያከብሩት በላይ ለሃገር እና ለወገን ታላቅ መስዋእትነት የከፈሉ ጀግኖቻችን ናቸው. እኛ አፋሮች ሉአላዊነትን ከአባቶቻችን የወረስነው ከማንነታችን መገለጫዎች አንዱ ነው።
