The funniest thing, i must add, is that after my physics degree at Venky. I went on to do law. I am a corporate lawyer now :)

I wanted to apply for the honours degree in Physics. Everywhere I could see, the standard rule was your cutoff was your "best of four" i.e. the aggregate percentage of your four best scoring subjects. So I waited for my class 12 results and quietly calculated my best four.
