I turned 45 (2D) today. A lot of the dreams I absorbed from sci-fi novels years ago are now becoming reality, so naturally that we barely noticed when they turned into part of everyday life. I’m glad to be witnessing this transformational moment. AI has moved from imitating human intelligence through pattern matching to emulating aspects of the human brain, becoming increasingly autonomous across many directions. My birthday wish is that in the next 3–5 years we’ll see the next shift: from emulation to true simulation of human intelligence, and that’s exactly the direction I believe we’re heading.

Why don’t Hi-Fi audio manufacturers make remotes like this (concept)? A proper volume knob would be cool.
