@axedashed My personal example a decade ago, Sonic became popular because of Sonic X and the only game people knew was Sonic Dash
And now he's even more popular thanks to the movie
It's not strange to find bootleg Sonic merch but people don't know the games

I genuinely think 90% of videogames are niche, there's just a difference between niche in the gaming scene and niche in general
Deltarune is not niche in the gaming scene, but is niche in the general scene with casuals that only know or for tik tok edits

I actually think Napstablook is the Ruins Dummy The Ruins Dummy isn't in DR, where in the Ghost House only Napstablook, Pink, and Mettaton live there. Pink is close to her cousin, and Cutie Mew Mew Magic has the Spooktune Leitmotif, which you can hear in Napstablook's house.
