This one is really good because red voters will now vote blue to try and maximize their survival and blue voters who argue they “don’t want to be responsible for death of another” should supposedly vote red as to not condemn someone to a losing vote.

@PaulTassi @JurassicRabbit It's not really tenable, but things like this are why I heavily prefer SkillUp's "recommend" scoring system. Taking the numbers out of the equation seems to solve some of this issue, but the prevalence of metacritic makes this hard to do on a wide scale

@JurassicRabbit I think all sites have the right to do their own scale, but if a big game got say, a 5/10, no one reads that as “mediocre,” readers, studios and even investors see that as a total disaster (see Pearl Abyss stock crashing after Crimson Desert’s 68 meta)

@JadenJTW If the goal is "no one dies," it's much easier to get 50% of people to agree on something rather than trying for 100% (impossible)
You can argue "blue is doing it to themselves," but we know people WILL vote blue. Voting blue is the only reasonable chance to save everyone.

I want to emphasize that I believe there is a fair debate on both sides. I think there is logical merit in choosing red, while also considering whether blue represents a more moral choice. However, I view blue as redundant because everyone can press red to live with no conflict.

Alright I tested this on Glosso, a small social media platform made up of adults with permanent account bans on the line (instead of death). Almost a thousand people voted.
And the result was.... Exactly the same percentages as this poll

Any good advice how to stop being a one-trick? Played for fun and didnt care about rank/skill, now want to actually learn the game but it feels like each time i pick someone besides my main the game activelly punishes me, i get curbstomped and derank. Just feels bad, man

@DeadlockAnon It sucks, but the real answer is you just have to suck for a while. Find another character or two you really enjoy, spam those, and you'll catch up to where you need to be. Repeat until you're satisfied with your hero pool

Before everygame tried to copy csll of duty. Ranked actually mattered. Almost no cheaters. Multiple competitive playlists. I miss this time in my life so much.
For me this was the greatest era to be a console gamer. To this day people still love to play Halo3 because anyone that played back then knows how special it was.
Shame halo sucks now, its crazy to think they are talking about extraction shooters. Chasing trends ruined their games back then... they learned nothing.
