In all the restraurants that I have had to pay more than 3000kes for food in kenya,non of it has ever been worth it. This is from an experience of 3 years so my Concern is quite accurate. Its either the restrauants sell you over frozen Meat that you can feel the blood clot from a far in the soup,or they sell you non african, mzungu oriented food which is much worse. Kama leo kule lake naivasha,niliangalia menu namna hii nikaona kitu inaitwa plaited beef pallet accompanied with greens and rice. Nikaambia waiter leta hii. Kidogo naona wameleta beef tatu mrefu na haijaiva,it was still red,Na mchele imechemshwa alafu wakaweka mbegu zingine za brown sijui ni nini,na nyanya imechongwa ikakaa kamaua,na brocolli haijaiva hapo kando ya nyama, nitafune kama senge. I was so disappointed,I could see the zebra next to me giggling. Alafu bill ikakuja 6 sausand! Akiamungu Karibu nipite na nugu huko nikachinjie nyumbani. We seriously need kenyan oriented restraurants that have good ambience. Restraurants that have múkimo,Githeri,Fried wet Tilapia,ugali ya wimbi,Múthúkui,kenyan rice,yellow Chapatis with malenge etc. Stop it with the italian and french nonsense,mimi sahii bado nahara juu ya kutafuna brocolli kama mbuzi.
