I didn't think I would care much about the new tire dirt feature, but it's actually kinda cool!

@Fraussen33 It's for CarX. We recently had a new update from Kino that allowed us to make custom tires. It's honestly amazing how far Kino has pushed this game forward. Props to trbflxr (dev of Kino) for constantly upping the bar!

@NaikjoyR The clean tire texture was originally from NFS Unbound, which did help jumpstart the project. The model was very simple though. I even jokingly tried to speedrun it (Video below)

@404_null_404_ I have a version with extra edge loops, but they make the tires look a lot wider than it actually is (Which can be annoying when matching irl tire specs ingame)

@ayohbakery tbh i prefer to add just one or two edge loops for that...

I've been trying to figure out ways to make the wheel have more "bulge" on the sidewall without adding more vertices in Blender. So I ended up using the "Data Transfer" modifier to get this illusion! (Shown in Pic 2 below)

@TanakaDrifter The texture is from NFS Unbound, but I spent a long while tweaking it (I even baked some AO from the normal map, which wasn't as straight forward as I thought) CarX recently had a Kino update that allowed us to make custom tires. So we're still discovering what's possible.

@ayohbakery is the tire texture from carx or something i kinda need it

During testing, I've also ported some Michelin tires. They have a different aesthetic compared to the NFS Unbound tires. I think it fits chunkier tires more nicely! They may get released someday when I make my tire pack. For now, I will see what you guys can make!

New Kino update is out! I'm excited to see what you guys will make with these new tires :) The image below is one of the NFS Unbound tires I ported. I gave the files to @noisy_factory so hopefully you guys will see it on kinomod.gg soon!

I loved the Grid S15 so much, even as a kid! (Especially the Team Orange livery) Nice knowing that they weren't following in Forza's footsteps ✨

I was recently intrigued by the AE86 models in Blackbox NFS games, mainly because they're USDM! The bumpers look a bit polarizing but there are other interesting differences. I quickly ported the front bumper into CarX, but idk if I'll finish it any time soon.

From 4-May-2020 to 7-May-2020, an S15 P-Ride Spec-Z catalogue was auctioned off for just 1,900 Yen! aucfree.com/items/p7631667… It had a photo of the catalogue's backside (my first time seeing it!) but it's not very detailed. I want to read the Spec-Z specifications so badly!
