🚨OH MY GOSH!!! The Atlanta TSA line is so long, that it is not just wrapped around baggage claim... ...BUT IS WRAPPING AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE FREAKING BUILDING!!!! I am hearing that people waited in line for SIX HOURS last night and still missed their flights. INSANE!!!!!

@VintageChild_ Lol I’ve seen better lineups over the year for sure! There are barely any new generation rnb/rap girlies or boys. I would’ve loved to see Coco Jones, Josh Levi, Tems, Leon Thomas, Doechii, Miguel, Chloe & Halle, Odeal to name a few. But to be a fair I’m also lowkey a #yungho 😭

Let’s start this off by saying FLO is an amazing BLACK girl group.
That said, American soil needs a new signature Black girl group.
And we have failed the ones we’ve been given.

The Shindellas - still very active, been together over a decade, two albums, several singles/projects
PSIRYN - a trio formed by Kandi Burruss who are currently a duo and dropped a great EP titled ‘In The Key Of Us’. They also reached #1 on Adult R&B Airplay with “Sober”.
In order for a Black girl group to pop off again in America they need a PROPER team, PROPER funding, A SOUND.
You cannot have a girl group of 3-5 women who all need wardrobe, hair, makeup, and not have a budget for them. You also need producers & writers who can handle such a job. You need an A&R with an ear for hits, not just songs. A choreographer and creative director who can make sure they LOOK like a GROUP. You have to spend money to make it. Also: ARTIST DEVELOPMENT.
From The Supremes to The Pointer Sisters to SWV & TLC to Destiny’s Child to even the short lived Electrik Red. All those BLACK GIRL groups were polished, prepared and paid for.
We can have it again, but somebody has to be ballsy enough to do it and stay the course the way Team FLO did it for them.
