I taught a businessman, who is twice my age, how to sell and build a sales funnel
Background: he is a trader and he has an educational course.
All his traffic was directed through webinars:
Webinar → Call → Sale.
The sales conversion rate was less than 3%.
What was the problem:
In the webinar, he only wanted to SELL. The whole webinar looked like he was promoting his product and nothing more.
You know, like u come to the market and hear “buy from me”
How we started:
1. I listened to all his webinars and completely revamped the structure. The focus shifted from direct selling to delivering value.
2. The format transformed from monologues to dialogues with the audience
We gave the opportunity to ask any questions
The chat exploded with questions from people, which we later translated into a call
“Hey, I see you are interested in trading, let's make a call and I can personally answer all your questions”
This made the call seem like a privilege, triggering a sense of scarcity and prompting more people to request calls
Human psychology.
On the call, he was answering all questions and offered to join the discord community.

In the Discord he provided value by sharing trading *secrets* and offering a lead magnet stuffed with free information about chart analysis (how to count pips, etc.)
We added weekly calls where he analyzed trades made by Discord participants.
The leads in the discord were warmed up and they themselves threw money into the monitor to buy the course or mentoring
But later I redesigned the structure of his mentoring and we made an offer that was stupid to refuse, but this is not in this post xd
Also we recorded segments from the revamped webinar and shared them on platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.
This generated new leads, who eventually entered the webinar funnel and subsequently joined the Discord community
This was my first funnel building experience
