For those criticising her because of her first name, I'll Explain for the genuine ones to understand. Her father's name is Ehianugor, that's a unique Ika name. Her First name is Anita, being an English speaking country, we adopt western names Her middle name is Nkechi, it shows she's a Christian. Nkechi means God's own/ the one from God. More popular examples are; Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, prince Nduka Obaigbena, Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor (L.E.O. Irabor), Patrick Okedinachi Utomi (Pat Utomi) The union igbo which is what developed into central Igbo is a gift from Missionaries to Minority tribes in SE and some parts of SS. "Presently spoken Igbo language is a gift from Missionaries" No one should ordinarily lay claims to it, but some people's mother tongues have completely eroded and have no more heritage so they cling to it as their heritage. Tribes in Ebonyi state, Enugu state and Abia state who still have a variant of their mother tongues (though heavily diluted by consistent exposure to the new language) are usually seen as less civilised, this makes other tribes hastily lose their mother tongues. These mother tongues are not mutually intelligible with the igbo language (hence it can't be classified as a dialect of igbo) A big shout out to the 'Ndi Abakaliki', 'Ndi Ngwa', 'Ndi Nsukka' etc for gripping onto your heritage, against the odds.

Most people will say, I dunno you are from DELTA STATE, because your name is CHIUKWUJIOKE.. we see you as Igbo. Hey... Im from Delta State and yes I'm Igbo.

There is a need for stronger regulation in Nigeria. Using content to promote bigotry should be considered a crime. Just observe this content and the derogatory language used against the Yoruba people, yet this young boy, being Yoruba himself, did not call it out. How did the Yoruba people get to this point?

This Igbo bride is the most beautiful thing you would see on the internet today 😍😍

I Just saw a video of the most beautiful Igbo bride, if you ask nicely I will share it 🤝🤝

The quotes and comments are exactly why many of us from Delta North remain cautious about the Anioma State proposal and any suggestion of being subsumed under a broader South East identity. Let me be clear. Ika people are proud of who we are. Our dialects and cultural identity are not footnotes to be renamed or redefined by anyone else. Yes, there are cultural and linguistic connections, but those connections should never become a basis for erasing our distinctiveness or speaking over our identity like it is inconsequential. That’s why I reject the creation of Anioma State, completely and unequivocally. It does not represent our interests, it does not reflect our identity, and it does not offer any convincing benefit to our people. It is a forced marriage that will distort who we are and advance agendas that do not align with the will of the majority of the Delta North people.

The harm isn’t coming from us rejecting the label. The harm comes from you refusing to respect our self-identification. If we are not Igbo (as we have clearly said), then our posts, our actions, and our names are not your burden to carry. That’s exactly how identity works: people who reject the label don’t owe the group the “consciousness” of an identity they never accepted. We are Anioma, we are Ndokwa, we are Ika, we dont speak Igbo we speak our respective language, I speak Ukwuani. Own your own actions as Igbo and stop dragging us into your victimhood narrative every time. We have chosen our identity. Respect it. The “burden” ends the day you stop forcing the label.

Imagine if colonization never happened. Well, you don’t need to imagine anymore.

Language and identity are personal. Ika is what we speak. 🫡

Isi Igbo for a reason.
