@V_cmplx @astr0l0gyjunkie I'm also a cancer moon but a Gemini sun but I just loveeeeee being relaxed and cozy all the time. I think it's definitely a moon & Venus thing.

@aystunz @astr0l0gyjunkie I love being in bed but Im both a Taurus sun and Venus. I always attributed it to my sun. I’m also a cancer moon and cancers love being cozy. Now that I think about it, your venus could be a reason 🤔

Sophia Ahuoyiza is hiring an Executive Assistant. Not a calendar-blocker or an email-responder. A context manager. She operates across multiple spaces — product, tech, business — simultaneously. She needs someone who can hold the full picture of her work life, keep her ahead of everything, and show up with the same standard she would. Here is her TLDR: 🕖 Core hours: 7 AM – 3 PM | Output-driven, not hour-driven 💰 ₦100,000/month for the first 6 months 📍 Fully remote ⏰ My brief lands with me by 7 AM, every day and you build it What I am looking for: — You are proactive. Deeply, consistently, without being reminded — You are reliable. Zero excuses — You read everything. Meeting notes, documents, long threads — this is not a role where you outsource your reading to AI — You pay attention to details — You communicate at a high level and can engage on my behalf when needed — You are tech-savvy and you build systems naturally What this is not: — A task-execution role — A role for someone with competing commitments or availability gaps right now — A full-time employment hire in the first 6 months (no leave, pension, or HMO initially — this is reviewed after 6 months) I have zero tolerance for laxity. I will terminate quickly if I notice it. The expectations are set clearly in advance — that clarity is intentional. I am also genuinely interested in people who are building towards something. If a career in tech, product, or business is where you are headed, this role will accelerate that. The search is open for 6 months. I will shortlist within a week. Two-week paid probation. Read the full JD before applying — application steps are in there: lnkd.in/dbwsuTzj Only the exceptional need apply.

I'm my finest when I have low cut hair, like that's when I'm drop dead gorgeous in my eyes but scalp disease wants to ruin my beauty.

Dealing with my natural hair isn't fun, it's tiring, long and can be painful and I hate it. Would rather do low cut Afro & tbh that's the only hairstyle I think looks best on us. A simple Afro, no braids, twist out or anything else tbh.

My own personal experience of dealing with my own natural hair is I'd rather go to a hairdresser to wash, condition , & style my hair. It's a long process that needs a lot of relaxation and scalp massages & id rather not deal with it myself.

I have a lot of sympathy when it comes to black women and our natural hair because I genuinely think we are the number 1 group that should be getting our hair cared for in a salon by hairdressers regularly! Like a weekly thing.

It's crazy how political the discussion on our hair is even within our groups as BW.

This is so beautiful. As Nigerians, on average, we are generous people. However, having spent some time with Nigerians living in the UK I’m genuinely concerned that the system might be rewiring their brain to go into this mindset of penny pinching or of lack. I’m a big advocate of financial literacy but that constant counting Pennies they are accustomed to worries me. They will split everything right down to the las £5 Pls if you’re Nigerian living in the UK. Pls pay attention to this. You don’t want to be in that trap. Let a couple of pounds go. Don’t split everytime. It’s a brain rewiring.

Early in our relationship, Cam brought a present to date night. An envelope full of $20 bills. "I want you to give these away when you feel called." I had SO much money scarcity back then. Even though I was making six figures at Meta, investing every month, totally fine financially… the thought of giving away a $20 bill caused tension in my body. But Cam would go to the bank and come back with envelopes: "Here's your money for the month. Give these as tips to people who deserve them." Two years later, that practice completely changed my relationship with money. I went from fear to abundance because someone made me prove to myself: we're good. We're so good we're giving it away. If you're stuck because of money fear, try the opposite. Be radically generous with what you have. Watch what happens.
