Flutter Wizards, Help Me Out If you're shipping apps with Flutter in production, which Flutter version are you on right now? And more importantly, which version actually works, with least framework/engine issues? I am planning to upgrade from 3.24.0

@onuoha_ifeanyi @usetitleapp this looks like a crazy useful tool. It has been a while i havent touched video on Flutter. Do you still use ffmpeg kit for video editing? or is there a new/better plugin to edit and compress videos? I remember ffmpeg was going to deprecate

@nank1ro the CI/CD scripts is able to access the build number from github before generating new builds. flutter build apk --build-number="$BUILD_NUMBER". When I run the app from vscode, the build number is empty because its not kept/synced in pubspec.

@aytunch Does your CI updates the pubspec.yaml version with an incremental build number every time it runs?

@nank1ro But the build number is not in the pubspec.yaml. How is it accessing it? Maybe I am missing something obvious here :/

@definev2 @luke_pighetti if Flutter has a Godot wrapper, what would be the pros/cons over RN Godot wrapper in theory? And why do you think no one has ever did a Godot wrapper for Flutter before? Is there a technical limitation? I wouldn't think so as we have full control over Canvas.

@luke_pighetti You mean game in Godot and controlled by RN UI. I think that over engineering, but 3D content addon in RN app, that reasonable

2d games was the last thing i could think of where flutter really mogs react native and then this drops

What do you think, guys? Doing too much, not enough, or just right? For context: Some processes take a while, and all you can do is wait, so might as well make it interesting

@onuoha_ifeanyi I wouldn't blur the background as much. It still can be somewhat readable. Making the loading screen interactable is a great idea btw. This can be helpful with longer tasks.

@kamranbekirovyz Kamran, I have another idea for an extension: we usually add new dependencies to pubspec yaml but forget to remove them even after removing the related code. There is no linter/extension that I know of which shows unused pubspec deps. @FlutterDev

Cursor helped me both build & publish "Pubgrade" extension for Flutter to VS Code marketplace. I'll probably push a new update and polish it before sharing with waitlist subscribers tomorrow!

There is no way to natively render custom animated Flutter widgets for map markers. We cant expect customers to browse all pins on the map.
