Yes. AI can write code to solve the issue but the way it writes and the code that it produces is not architecturally good or scalable. It does not think about what will happen tomorrow or day after tomorrow. It just wants to complete the work. An experience dev can quickly catch it and prompt AI to correct the code.

The issue with LLM's over-engineering is the same issue most junior developers go through when starting out, they don't have the experience yet to know that concise simple code is nearly always better. Pragmatism is one of the most important skills a developer develops over time. Sadly AI coding models can't be pragmatic they can't weigh decisions, they are too narrow minded and fixated on "best practices" like defensive programming, SOLID principles and unnecessary abstractions. I'm not entirely convinced with the current approach that this is fixable, it's not an intelligence issue it's an emotional one. AI agents don't have gut feelings, humans do.

@OrevaZSN In the last AirBnb I stayed in one of the chore was to mow their lawn and paint their picket fence.

Hotels are infinitely better than Airbnbs. They’re cheaper. No chores, no cleaning fees, no insane surprise rules, no mystery stains, and no host pretending to be your new best friend. Just check in, sleep, and leave. The way it should be.

@johncrickett AI might be good in writing good but in software architecture design, it is still pretty bad.

“AI writes better code than I do” is a strange thing to say when you think about it. AI was trained on a vast corpus of published code. It reflects the average of all that code. So what you’re really saying is: “My code is below average.”

The humidity in Miami is absurd, with a heat advisory warning, and there is some potential this pitch temperature matches “the hottest World Cup game ever” - Ireland-Mexico, also in Florida Great as Miami is, could have picked 15 other venues? independent.co.uk/sport/football…

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: England's World Cup quarter-final against Norway could be delayed due to extreme heat in Miami. Temperatures are expected to reach 29 - 32°C, with a real feel of up to 44°C at kick-off! FIFPRO recommends DELAYING or postponing matches if the local temperature exceeds 28°C. — @DailyMail

Fake Store API is a really nice API that you can use to learn about SwiftUI app development. * I am thinking of doing a live stream to just implement some of the features of the Fake Store application. What do you think? fakestoreapi.com/docs
