Being a young queer closeted person in media wasn’t easy. Whenever someone gave me crap about my sexuality I would never speak up because I was in constant fear that they would fire me. I was always told that “someone else wants your job”. So it was easier for me to keep quiet

George was GM at Mix102.3 when I also used to work there. A few of us Mix employees also volunteered at @fresh927 at the same time so we could build upon our radio and media skills. George used to constantly give us shit about Fresh. He hated the station so much!
