@jameschin110 It's a political learning process for him; more time, he could be a better leader. Maybe the next 5 to 10 years. That's the best option for Umno to stay relevant. I could see there are some changes of guards in the Umno hierarchy soon.

🤣🤣 Boy Wonder making a comeback in UMNO. No doubt he is looking to take over from Zahid after next GE. Some people say it's a good thing since Nurul might take over from Papa after the next GE as well. What do I think? I think he is a very smooth operator who is a strong believer in KM. I think he is capable of fooling the nons into thinking he is a "moderate" Malay leader because he knows how to play with language. What do you think? #Malaysia #UMNO #Khairy #Zahid

@jameschin110 Your words cut deep but they cut true. Dr. Mahathir’s legacy is also about the quiet erosion of trust, unity, and integrity in our nation. Many still fear to say it, but you said it with clarity. Malaysia must stop treating silence as reverence. The reckoning is overdue.

youtube.com/watch?v=g2CWNm… Dr. Mahathir Mohamad's legacy as a political figure is marked by one thing: he will never admit to anything he did politically to harm this country. He has this ability to spin his way out of everything, largely because he understands the Malay psychology better than any other politician alive today. Since the 1970s, over two million professionals have emigrated from Malaysia, with an estimated 80 percent being non-Bumi. Increasingly, Malay professionals are also leaving, not primarily due to NEP, but because of Malaysia’s toxic political and religious environment. Dr. Mahathir bears significant responsibility for fostering this environment, particularly through the rise of political Islam, high-level corruption, and money politics during his tenure. He did not start the first two, but he definitely was responsible for the last one in a big way. As an observer of Malaysian politics for decades, I can say with total confidence that the 1MDB scandal was enabled by the excessive centralization of power in the Prime Minister’s office—a structure largely shaped by Dr. Mahathir. This concentration of authority/power created a system where the sitting PM faced little opposition, even when engaging in illegal activities. Had Najib Razak not inherited such a powerful office, the 1MDB scandal might have been prevented. Dr. Mahathir’s statements on affirmative action policies here should not be taken at face value. His policies and rhetoric significantly permanently destroyed ethnic relations between Malays and non-Malays, contributing to feelings among non-Malays of being second-class citizens. Furthermore, the MACC has documented the substantial wealth of Dr. Mahathir’s sons, raising questions about their accumulation of assets. Both his children are multi-millionaires, with one holding assets above one billion. Additionally, his involvement in Project IC in Sabah, which facilitated the issuance of identity cards to immigrants, remains an issue he has never acknowledged. All he said was he does not remember in the RCI. Every Sabahan know the role played by Dr. Mahathir in changing the demography of Sabah. The natives of Sabah will never be able to reclaim their ancestral land. Dr. Mahathir’s refusal to admit to the excesses of the NEP or his role in these systemic issues underscores his dark legacy. His actions have left a lasting impact on Malaysia’s political and social fabric. Today there is no national unity and no national integrity. That is the honest truth. #Malaysia #Mahathir #Corruption #DarkLegacy

Four years ago, in the middle of a pandemic, we needed a leader with the character to put politics aside and do what was right. That’s what @JoeBiden did.   At a time when our economy was reeling, he drove what would become the world’s strongest recovery – with 17 million new jobs, historic wage gains, and lower health care costs. He passed landmark legislation to rebuild our nation’s infrastructure and address the threat of climate change.    I’m grateful to Joe for his leadership, his friendship, and his lifetime of service to this country we love.

@zaidibrahim Ham also means being overacting like that lowya politician. If Ham is meant to be so bad, so dirty, and refers to that snory, then better ask JPN to ban all names starting with Ham. For example Ham siah, Ham dan, Ham sani, Ham zah, Ham saton, Ham midah, Ham paaa ko ni!!!👌😄

Ham sandwich The meat and cheese are halal, but that’s not enough for JAKIM. The handling, cooking, serving and premises must be halal, too It looks like many certificates are required throughout the whole process. How will that work out? It’s not feasible. Either you prohibit non-Muslims from supplying, serving, cooking, and handling any food to Muslims altogether, or you learn to trust them. Just like we can't monitor our spouse every step of the way, we have to trust them. It’s not feasible otherwise I trust the non-Muslims to know that they will not serve non-halal stuff to me. I don’t see what is beneficial to them to taint my food in any shape or form deliberately JAKIM should also learn to trust non-Muslims as they would to fellow Muslims. A trusting character is highly valued in Islam.

@KamalaHarris Although you seem amazing in the run-ups, you are not good enough to win and become America's first female president. A somewhat sincere rogue like Trump is needed in a great rogue nation like the USA. Kamila, good luck.

@jameschin110 You single out a few and demonise the entire group. Why do you detest Malays so much? It makes sense that you chose Australia as your free and adoptive nation! Making yourself more whites! Why don't you choose Taiwan, Macao or Hong Kong?

I'm not surprised, and neither should you. The Malay community is undergoing a process of "closing the mind". Another thing that is happening is the Arabisation of the Malays, who are unaware that their unique culture is being gradually replaced by Arabic culture. What can you do with such ignorant people? Who believes they have exclusive rights to words? It is pointless to inform them that they live in a diverse world; in their worldview, there are only two categories of people on the planet: believers and khaffirs. They will spend their entire lives in this manner and want to be more Arab than the Arabs. Trust me, you cannot change their minds because the mind is gone. What are your thoughts on this issue?

@KamalaHarris Good luck, President Wannabe. It was not an easy ride to the White House. The US administration has been marred by their one-sided affair in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The young Americans want to see a new America, not one that is a party to the genocide in Gaza.

The Malaysian story Targeted subsidies mean Sabah and Sarawak will continue to get subsidies. Madani Village Development Scheme does not apply to Sabah and Sarawak. Another special arrangement Sarawak is autonomous on most fronts. Sabah will slowly follow suit. They manage their ports, operate their airlines, etc Everything about Sabah and Sarawak is special. What does the Peninsular get? A Prime Minister

@zaidibrahim U are a political "has been" who goes to great lengths to stay relevant. Under Mahathir for 22 years & Paklah for 6 years, we received unfair treatment. Where are your eyes, ears, and mouth, then? Najib recognised our situation. Now is the time to stand up for our rights.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ Menerima perkhabaran duka mengenai pemergian permata seni, Jaafar Onn pada bulan yang mulia ini.
