Wale Bolorunduro was the architect of half salaries in Osun. He worked with Rauf on the state’s economy, and things kept getting worse till 2017. Rauf dissolved them and appointed other cabinet members, bringing in Bola Oyebamiji as Commissioner for Finance on May 30, 2017 — he wasn’t part of the economic team before.
Five months later, the half salary issue was resolved and things went back to normal. Before his appointment, he was working at Osiscol. Rauf saw the excellent job he was doing there and elevated him to Commissioner for Finance to help resolve the financial crisis rocking the state then.
Wale Bolorunduro, who pioneered half salaries, is now Adeleke’s right-hand man. Around 2024, they nominated him as Board Chairman of LivingTrust Mortgage Bank, but CBN rejected him due to his bad record.
It’s funny how some people trolling APC forget that those who worked with Rauf during half salaries are now the face of Demola’s government. Now they’re blaming the person who was brought in at the last minute and fixed it.

Without Tinubu's support, the election will be over by 12pm

Adeleke is a very popular candidate. Adeleke doesn't need the support of Tinubu to emerge. In fact, it is evi! for anyone to associate itself with BAT because many of Adeleke's supporters said so. "With or without him Adeleke will emerge" .....Adeleke supporters 2026.

AMBO OYEBAMIJI was appointed in 2017, few months to the end of Aregbe’s tenure, to stop half salary payment in Osun State.
During those period, he outlined the wrongdoing of Wale Bolohunduro, an ally of Adeleke, and proffered a solution to the half salary brouhaha.
There’s no record of half salary payment during the tenure of OYEBAMIJI as the commissioner of Finance.

lol. May 2017, AMBO Oyebamiji took over as commissioner of Finance under APC, December 2018, he justified why they had to pay Half Salary. Oyetola of APC entered as Governor with SAME Oyebamiji as commissioner of finance and refused to pay arrears. Was it because he didn’t rate civil servants or he disagreed with Aregbesola and Oyetola but was helpless?
