This is what we're looking at if current trends continue into 2060-2070. I believe the aim with the war on Iran is to wrest control of Iran's coastline on the Persian Gulf and establish a permanent NATO-US presence there, creating commercial-maritime statelets composed of Persians, Lurs, Afro-Iranians and Arabs. Khuzestan would likewise be carved into a small, U.S.-base holding emirate of a multiethnic nature. Chabahar would be essentially controlled by a multinational force spearheaded by the U.S. To the north, Turkiye and Azerbaijan will eventually merge into one country, and if the war on Iran succeeds, Kurdish ambitions in Urmiyeh will be used by Turkiye to justify a joint Turkish-Azeri incursion in the North, establishing first a "security zone" and then negotiating a referendum with a transitional Iranian government for integration of Iran's Azeris into this new Turkic sphere. I believe if Iran falls, the field will be open for Israel to expand into Syria and the Sinai, and there will likely be use of Kurdistan as a buffer against the Turkic project to the north, wedged against Greater Israel. I think Shi'a Iraq will become its own state, and the Sunni area of Iraq will be split between Israel and Arabia. Turkmenistan may expand into Turkmensahra in Iran, and we may see the Taliban attempt to take some land in Iran's Eastern regions. This is all hypothetical, but this, I believe, is the aim of the U.S./NATO and Israel.
