We told you this was only the tip of the iceberg. According to the legal challenge, another circulator used by the union-backed campaign trying to gut Arizona’s ESA program was Kisha Christian. Federal court records show Christian pleaded guilty to conspiracy to transport illegal aliens for profit. In her signed plea agreement, she admitted recruiting others to participate in the smuggling operation. Two people were transported in the trunk of a vehicle on a day when temperatures reached approximately 96 degrees, creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. She expected to be paid and admitted organizing and leading the operation. And it gets worse. Christian was also convicted in a separate federal case of importing nearly one kilogram of methamphetamine, which she admitted concealing on her body while entering the United States. She was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison for that offense. A convicted smuggler. A convicted meth importer. Collecting signatures for the union-backed campaign that lectures Arizona parents about “fraud,” “abuse,” and “accountability.” How many more people like this did they send into Arizona communities? @GovernorHobbs is facing allegations that she illegally commingled campaign funds, using a PAC, Copper State Values, to route soft money into her reelection committee. A letter to Sec. Court records show Tafoya was charged with forgery after allegedly presenting fraudulent currency with the intent to defraud. He later pleaded guilty to the amended felony charge of criminal simulation and acknowledged having two prior felony convictions. Who decided that someone convicted in a fraud-related case involving fraudulent currency should be trusted to collect voter signatures? And how can the teachers unions continue lecturing ESA parents about “fraud and abuse” while their own signature operation relied on people with records like this? A convicted felon. A fraud-related offense. Collecting signatures for a campaign that claims to demand accountability. The hypocrisy is staggering. This is not a grassroots movement. Hobbs again refuses to commit to debating @AndyBiggs4AZ. Meanwhile her whole campaign schtick is claiming credit for Republican tax cuts and wins she didn’t author. If she has no winning policies of her own, no wonder she won’t defend them on stage. Arizonans deserve better.
