Congrats to Montana. While I love the bookstores we have, the KC metro is so woefully lacking in bookstores. Would love to have a great downtown destination bookstore.

MONTANA has more bookstores per capita than any other state and that margin keeps growing with the addition of Isle of Books & Books. They're having their grand opening in Bozeman this Saturday :)

@Mutant187 Yes, agreed. Bike lanes aren't anti-car. It isn't a zero sum game. But when cars and bikes or cars and people collide, the cars usually win. Just asking for a balance with policy that follows the data.

@azhandkc #StreetsForPeople who use CARS too! Stop trying to make fetch happen with this anti-car rhetoric. PEOPLE drive cars. (Cars certainly don’t drive themselves!) And most people prefer to drive cars than to get around by bike, foot, or transit-and foot.

Too many times I was a "near miss" while walking, biking or scooting around downtown. Plus, we know bike lanes can help promote economic activity. Sign the petition (nonresidents) or reach out to your council rep today (KCMO) and ask them to vote NO.

Populous says new Downtown ballpark would come with a need for 10,800-11,400 parking spaces. With ~55,000 spaces of existing parking inventory, architects say two ballparks theoretically could fit Downtown.
