Obviously I am a Pac-12 account and normally I would be doing victory laps on this. But the truth is, we will likely never know what the final payout number is.
So who won? Probably nobody.

@rltsports MWC has already withheld over $60 million... Settle for $20 million more, each school pays $4 million over 4-5 years.

Wrap it all up with a nice little bow!🎁 Past history tells us that these things usually settle for around $.55 cents on the dollar or based on a $150m suit, a total of $82.5m to MWC. Be interesting to see where this one comes out.🤔

JOINT STATEMENT FROM PAC-12 & MW
The Pac-12 Conference, the Mountain West Conference, and Boise State University, Utah State University, the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System for the benefit of Colorado State University, and The Board of Trustees of the California State University for the benefit of San Diego State University and California State University, Fresno have reached an agreement in principle to resolve the pending lawsuits. The parties have agreed to stay the lawsuits in California and Colorado while they work to negotiate and finalize the settlement.

It has been over a year since Mountain West Commissioner Nevarez asked for a Global Resolution regarding the PAC-12 Poaching Fees & departing member Exit Fees.
While the PAC was uninterested then, it now appears that a Global Resolution Settlement is IMMINENT.
