Traffic Advisory – Chebucto Road - Connaught Avenue – Water System Upgrades
Until approximately the end of August 2025, Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water, will complete an upgrade to the water transmission main along Chebucto Road and Connaught Avenue from Newton Avenue to Berlin Street, Halifax.
The typical hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
During this project, the following traffic control will be in place:
- Alternating lane closures inbound on Connaught Avenue between Berlin Street and Chebucto Road.
- Alternating lane closures outbound on Connaught Avenue at Berlin Street.
- Sidewalks in the work zone will be closed. Pedestrian traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the street
