@Punished8Man The point of Old World Blues is being silly, spoof 50s B movies, so criticising it for being what it was designed to be isn't fair. Perhaps the silliest main quest is sending ghouls to the moon.

@b3achmaster I would have picked Old World Blues instead of the side quests, as it's too silly to be directly connected to the main plot.
If it wasn't paid DLC I'd imagine it would have been hidden behind the Wild Wasteland perk. Like how Courier's Stash was supposed to be in game loot.

Honestly, give Modern Fallout fans their quirk chungus Fallout 5 so long as Obsidian is allowed to cook. I wholeheartedly think they should split the approach for Fallout right down the fucken middle and make everyone happy. Especially as the design ethos between something like Fallout 4 and New Vegas are so divergent. Let's stop kidding ourselves. HOWEVER, one huge worry I have about the remasters is that they will pussy out and remove more of the adult content from New Vegas.

@Punished8Man Some of the humour/writing in both is done well, some in both done poorly. Swatters guy is annoying (honestly forgot about him), but sort of makes sense given the location. The sort of equivalent in F2 might be some of the popculture references or Fisto in NV.

@b3achmaster The difference is that the humor is done better, that's why it sticks out less. Compare the Legion to the fruitcake who sells "swatters" in Diamond City.
Danse's sacrifice was a genuinely good scene, though. Was shocked to learn Emil wrote it.

The tragedy is that these are from battles so irrelevant to Britain they aren't even footnotes, but for the Argentine they are his founding, his national pride, his core history and very being is based on the British. A country that he gives his full thought gives him none at all

@Gefera_ Tbh, there's quirky and goofy moments in nearly every Fallout game, silly to pretend that it's unique to the Bethesda games.
