CBB Play of the Day 💎 Cal Poly ML +100 (2U) ❤️‍🔥 = TAILING Analysis👇 We’ve dropped our last couple hoops free plays, but this is exactly the type of spot we bounce back in. Bakersfield is simply starved for talent and profiles as the worst shooting team in the country, ranking dead last in threes made per game and near the bottom in three-point percentage, which makes it extremely hard to keep up in today’s game. Cal Poly isn’t an efficient shooting team, but they lean into volume, knocking down 10.8 threes per game, and this becomes a simple math problem against an opponent that can’t score from the perimeter. Both teams are struggling, with Poly losing five of six and Bakersfield dropping four straight, but the fact that this game is essentially a pick’em despite Poly being on the road is telling. I’ll follow the sharp side here and trust Cal Poly to make enough shots to steal the road win.
