Here's their assessment of the incident with Harley Reid: "Yeo kicks the goal after the three-quarter time siren and Reid initially runs toward Yeo before abruptly changing his direction and turning toward Comben. Comben, in a stationary position, moves his arms up at body height to protect himself from the oncoming Reid. As Reid approaches with speed, Reid lowers his body and high contact is made to Reid. It was the view of the MRO that Comben’s actions did not constitute a strike. No further action was taken".

@AJG_87 Agree with all of the above. I’m giving Fred another 12 months given he’s had an injury leading into this season. I’d also give Clay another 12 months as he’s shown enough to provide depth in case of injuries. Plus I think he adds value to culture and training standards

Think that is one you have to go “yep, okay” and move on. Of course we were going to get slaughtered but I think we learnt some lessons and saw some green shoots, and also some alarm bells (players). It’s Round 1 so plenty to learn but way too early to panic. Next week is huge
