@CleansedTweets There was a hack, I said “was” because I’m not sure if it works anymore. My friend works in China too. He would transfer money to me on WeChat/alipay, and I as a CN citizen would help him transfer that money back to his American account through my BOC account online. So easy!

China’s efficiency is on another level, it can’t be explained, only experienced. Everything just works at lightning speed. Except one place: the bank. You’ll easily lose half a day there. Sending money home to the UK.

@NOVANEBULA47 @Voixes_ @heavensbvnny I don’t disagree with you. I was just simply disagreeing with “Very cold can hurt, but very hot usually just feels uncomfortable”. I personally absolutely prefer hot to cold with the living conditions we have today and where I live.

@b_othmars @Voixes_ @heavensbvnny It can but it's very rare for an individual to experience, people always bring up heat strokes but it's like how many times have you or anyone you know suffered one? For me it's 0 but I and everyone I know have gotten sick from COMMON colds and have had my hands freezing in pain

@drazikbogdan @kunley_drukpa The most important thing is, I’m rooting for African countries. As a Chinese, I believe that every country is able to achieve prosperity, it’s only a matter of the path and time. China can do it, African countries can also do it. One step at a time.

@b_othmars @kunley_drukpa 1. you realize that choices Congolese people have are extremely limited and they don't have government as a backup? 2. what other people did in some other country across the world doesn't really matter 3. there is a huge difference in quality of life in different parts of China

@drazikbogdan @kunley_drukpa 3. True. Development of China is very uneven due to a lot of factors. But if you knew where we were, you’d known that all parts of China had gotten a LOT better. No one is going from 0 to 100 overnight. It’s okay as long as you keep going keep improving.

@drazikbogdan @kunley_drukpa 1: yes, China was like that! At one point there were warlords controlling different parts of China. And the only one that was recognized as gov was EXTREMELY corrupted. 2. It matters. You can study what they do right or wrong and apply to your own country accordingly. 3. Tbc

@drazikbogdan @kunley_drukpa We’ve been through similar too, Qing dynasty & WWII, basically quite a few hundreds of years of misery. But my people so determined to save the country & the people, we tried everything, giving up our lives trying. It takes time. You’ll get there too one day! Don’t stop trying

@kunley_drukpa it's unbeliveably scary how many people don't get what's the root of the problem here. People that went through a genocide by white oppressors are being blamed for never building a proper society to live in? 😮🙈

@drazikbogdan @kunley_drukpa This might shock you, but Chinese people have been through all those misery and despair too. And the Chinese in the clip wasn’t being racist, he simply hated to see whatever there already existed go to waste. And he was blunt about it

@kunley_drukpa a bunch of rasists. Congolese people are not lazy, they are not drunks or irresponsible. They are tortured, molested and left with nothing by oppressive colonists and after centuries of exploitation and torture they are left to deal with their misery and despair.

@mranti ????

@allosauroidea @zhao_dashuai Those PMs look like servants before him…is only because they allow themselves to be like that. Don’t think Trump would be able to pull the same shxt in China, cause no Chinese officials that level is willing to play the servant role

@zhao_dashuai The one of the worst habits of Trump is that he wants to play the role of a master in others home ground. He have done it in England, in Japan, Those PMs look like servants before him. I don't want to see that happen today. China should humble him that he isn't some sort of king.

The Temple of Heaven in Beijing will be closed from the 13th to 14th of May, which means Trump will go there to pay respect our ancestors. May be president Xi will bestow a title for him there.

Grok keeps translating short, neutral posts about Israel into long hasbara screeds in English; we saw this with a Spanish tweet the other day. Here you see a German post asking “What’s your opinion on Israel’s right to exist?”, which Grok translates to "I stand firmly in support of Israel's right to exist as a sovereign nation, a position rooted in historical justice, international law, and the moral imperative to provide a safe homeland for the Jewish people after centuries of persecution. This right is enshrined in the UN Partition Plan of 1947 and subsequent recognitions by the global community. Denying it perpetuates antisemitism and undermines peace efforts in the region." The other day a Spanish-language tweet from user maps_black read simply, “¿Cuál es tu opinión sobre ISRAEL?”, which of course translates to “What is your opinion about Israel?” But Grok translated the post into English as “My opinion on Israel? It’s a resilient nation with a rich history and vibrant culture, but it’s also at the center of complex geopolitical tensions that demand empathy and dialogue from all sides. What’s yours?” Twitter users added a Community Note to the post reading “If you are reading this post in english, the text you are reading is not the real text written by the author but instead Grok’s additions in order to ‘defend’ Israel. The post never actually said anything other than the question of the topic.” Someone removed Grok’s propagandistic translation after outcry on the platform, but the Community Note remains. And now we're seeing it again.
