Kobe Brown since joining the Pacers: 8.8 ppg (career high) 4.4 rpg (career high) 1.5 apg (career high) 49.6% FG% (career high) 43.9% 3PT% (career high) Would you re-sign him this offseason?

@Pacers He’s making his pitch to stay, that’s for sure. Doubt it makes sense for the Pacers, but I genuinely like the kid. I’d love to see him succeed.

The majority of folks on X use it to talk about topics they are interested in, give their opinions and have some fun collaborating or debating in a friendly way. Then there’s a whole group of unhappy folks that want to demean, berate, and attempt to “force” their agenda. Cool. Ever notice how many likes those posts receive? Hmm, nearly none. There’s still hope for the world.

@b_stri @pacersin6 @esidery Dybantsa and Peterson are both more highly thought of than Luka on his draft night, dumbass. And Jordan was 3rd pick in the draft, not 1st or 2nd. That's the point, dumbass, these guys are generational picks, they aren't sitting for years behind a good role player like nesmith

@AlexGoldenNBA Alex back with another nothing post. Always pilfering peoples content and re-distributing for clicks. You are turning into a one man 8pt9secs account, brother. I know you are trying to “make it”, but this is bot behavior. @_Facci single handedly keeps the pod afloat nowadays.

Listen, I’m ALL for the Pacers drafting AJ Dybantsa… But the constant disrespect toward Aaron Nesmith has to stop. AA just had the most efficient 3PT shooting postseason ever (min 100 3PA) and brings it every single night defensively. Undersized at the 3? Sure. But he makes up for it with toughness, physicality, and nonstop effort. He may not be the flashiest name, but he’s a true 3&D wing and our starting SF next season… Dybantsa or not.

Draymond Green shares his thoughts on the Pacers draft situation and how he views the fit of a top pick 👀: “I don’t think the Pacers have a great starting three-man right now. Adding AJ Dybantsa gives them a franchise player” Via @DraymondShow

@wickbourne69 @pacersin6 @esidery Moronic statement. Classic. Love social media. Always good to be berated when we’re all just talking. No one has to be stupid. Of course he’d start if he’s Luca or Jordan. I certainly hope that’s the case. Glad you have it all figured out dude.

@pacersin6 @b_stri @esidery Like Luka? Yes, Dybantsa is infinitely better than Nesmith RIGHT NOW. Dybantsa = future MVP candidate, Nesmith=very solid role player. Nobody drafts Jordan to sit behind Reggie Theus

Hey Tony, What are your thoughts on the 2 wins from a bottom of the standings perspective? You referenced Chicago, Brooklyn, and Detroit(last game of season) being very win-able. The last thing on Earth we want is to endure this season and then play ourselves into the 4th spot, which I believe we are doing. Sacremento won’t win another game and we can’t catch them or it presents 2 coin flips for Indiana. Is there a complete player shutdown coming? What will the league office say? Geez, this is bizarro world as a fan.

@TonyREast We are going to be locked into the Top 4 coin flip. We’d like to be in the Top 3 coin flip though and stay behind Sacremento. And right, they aren’t changing draft rules this season.

The Mavericks won in Portland last night. That means the next Pacers loss will lock up top-5 lottery odds for them (and they can obviously get higher than that). Said loss would also make the 10-30 protections on their pick no longer relevant, a finality that has been on the way.

So, there was one guy on this Podcast that knows the Pacers would make complimentary moves to enhance today and not leverage tomorrow. Smart stuff. Then your guest talked like a crazy fan leveraging our entire future for Trey Murphy by trading all picks and 3 rotation players. Plus, using the exception. What? Almost lost me.

Crazy. Seems like you’d want as many stars as you can get. Haliburton-Siakam-Zubac. 3 years from now it could be Haliburton-Dybantsa-(hopefully Zu or Siakam). 2 year window or possible 7 year window?? Hmm. I’m good with Dybantsa or Boozer for different reasons. Let’s play ball.

@TonyREast Totally agree. It all comes down to the players and owners getting paid though. Maybe the addition of 2 new franchises provides the revenue to make all happy.

Should the NBA season be shorter than 82 games? Steve Kerr thinks so, and Rick Carlisle agrees. "Yeah, it would definitely be better," he said. "I really think Steve is right on the money here." Carlisle's full thoughts and more: forbes.com/sites/tonyeast…

@TheDunkCentral @MarcJSpears Just wait until the personal workouts and visits. The whole thing gets turned on it’s head again. And these geniuses will have a whole new board. They may get the Top 5 right, but they won’t get the order drafted right.

An anonymous GM has AJ Dybantsa ranked No. 1, Caleb Wilson No. 2, and Darius Acuff Jr. No. 3 on his draft board, per @MarcJSpears “Real quick on Acuff: I had one GM tell me today he’s moved into the top three. Peterson might be going back down a little bit. He saw AJ as number one, Wilson two." (h/t @OmerOsman200 / @TheNBABase )

Only trade I see is back a spot or 2 if they can get their guy and draft capital. That’s it. And depending on who their guy is, that may create a trade involving Walker or Toppin. ..and that may not be until the trade deadline. We didn’t go thru this nightmare to trade our future.

Zach Lowe suggests the Pacers could leverage their first round pick if they retain it: “Indiana would probably lean toward just using the pick and trying to draw two timelines at once…Real interesting trade piece, depending on where it falls, given that they clearly are going into next season in a win-now mentality” (Via @ZachLowe_NBA) Oh boy 😂😂😂

@TonyREast Good move for a team where every penny saved helps the cap. But then looms June 30 and the needed pushback of the guarantee. That may give them time when free agency opens to look for a cheap young vet. I don’t see the upside with Kam, but I don’t see the alternative.

Another DNP for Kam Jones tonight. One more and his contract will only be half guaranteed for 2026-27 heading into the offseason and wouldn't become fully guaranteed until June 30.
