Goodluck Jonathan has already played his role in Nigeria’s democratic journey and left office peacefully, earning respect both locally and internationally. Pulling him into a project that lacks clear direction or public trust may only damage the legacy he worked hard to build.

This Fulani boy hands were cut after he was tortured by some Christians terrorists in the North. His only crime is that he is Fulani. Why has our society become so inhumane, and how could anyone inflict such cruelty upon a child? Allah ya zama gatan musulmai, ya daukaka musulunci da musulmai a fadin duniya.

See how PO boldly commands someone like Buba Galadima as his errand boy. Is Buba his mate? Why not show respect to the elderly man? Can you imagine such a gesture? This is how he will treat the North if given the opportunity.

TROOPS CRACK DOWN ON CRIMINAL ELEMENTS, RECOVER ARMS IN NORTH WEST AND SOUTH EAST OPERATIONS In a renewed push to sustain ongoing offensives against criminal elements and reinforce internal security across the country, troops of the Nigerian Army operating under Joint Task Force (JTF) North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA in the North West and Joint Task Force South East Operation UDO KA have recorded significant operational successes with the arrest of suspected armed criminals and recovery of weapons and other incriminating items. In the North West theatre, troops of 2 Battalion deployed at Forward Operating Base Dogon Dawa, while conducting a snap roadblock operation at Damari in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State on 8 May 2026, intercepted a suspected bandit identified as Ibrahim Adamu, 32 years old, riding on a motorcycle. Troops recovered one AK-47 magazine, 3 mobile phones, Indian hemp and other items from the suspect. Preliminary exploitation of the suspect’s mobile phone revealed incriminating photographs showing him dressed in military camouflage and armed with a PKT machine gun alongside other suspected bandits. The suspect and recovered items are currently in military custody for further investigation. Similarly, in the South East, troops of 14 Brigade under JTF South East Operation UDO KA swiftly responded to a distress call on 9 May 2026 regarding suspected illegal possession of a firearm at Umuoriehe village, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State. Acting on credible information, troops mobilized to the location and apprehended one Ifeanyi Ezebuiro, 22 years old, recovering one foreign-made Ruger pistol. During preliminary investigation, the suspect claimed the weapon belonged to his late father. The suspect and recovered firearm remain in custody pending further investigation. These operational gains highlights the relentless commitment of the Nigerian Army to denying criminal elements freedom of action and ensuring the safety and security of law-abiding citizens across the country. The Nigerian Army remain resolute in sustaining aggressive operations against all forms of insecurity in line with the constitutional mandate of protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity and national peace.

Like ADC, the NDC has no plan for Nigeria yet Out of sheer curiosity, I have twice in the last few days googled the website of the Nigeria Democratic Party (NDC), the party that the political wanderer Peter Obi and his ally, Rabiu Kwankwaso, sought shelter in after abandoning the ADC midstream. I was interested in the party’s manifesto and whether it has enunciated a markedly different vision for the governance of Nigeria, one better than President Tinubu's and the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda. I was disappointed. Even though the site invited visitors to click on its manifesto to read it, the result was negative. “No document found" was the response I got each time I tried to download the manifesto. The party whose national leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, said would wage an ideological battle in the 2027 poll has not uploaded any manifesto since it was court-registered in February. What it flaunts are six policy nuggets that it characterised as pillars. However, the nuggets don’t read like pillars. They sound more like the platitudes the party’s newest catch, Peter Obi, has bombarded the nation with in the last six years. Senator Dickson, I look forward to your vision and mission for Nigeria, as your party appears to be the camp for the politically displaced and desperate.

NPF RECORDS MAJOR OPERATIONAL BREAKTHROUGHS IN APRIL 2026, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO NATIONAL SECURITY The Nigeria Police Force, under the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, recorded significant operational successes across the country in the month of April 2026, reaffirming its commitment to intelligence-led policing and the protection of lives and property nationwide. As part of sustained efforts to combat violent crime and strengthen internal security, several coordinated operations carried out by Police tactical and investigative units led to the arrest of twenty-eight (28) suspected terrorists, eighty-five (85) suspected kidnappers, sixty-two (62) armed robbery suspects, fifty-one (51) murder and culpable homicide suspects, and fifty-four (54) suspected cultists. In the course of these operations, the Force successfully rescued one hundred and eighty-nine (189) kidnapped victimsfrom various criminal hideouts and captivity locations across the country. The operations also resulted in the recovery of one hundred and forty (140) assorted firearms, one thousand and seventy-four (1,074) rounds of ammunition, as well as thirty-seven (37) stolen vehicles linked to criminal activities. The Inspector-General of Police commended officers and men involved in the operations for their professionalism, resilience, and dedication to duty. He noted that the achievements reflect the growing effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing and enhanced inter-agency collaboration in addressing evolving security threats. The IGP further assured Nigerians that the Force remains resolute in its determination to dismantle criminal networks, strengthen public safety, and sustain ongoing reforms aimed at building a more accountable, professional, and people-centered Police Force. The Nigeria Police Force urges members of the public to continue supporting security agencies with timely and credible information, emphasizing that security remains a collective responsibility. The scales have now fallen from the eyes of Babachir Lawal, a 2023 supporter of Peter Obi. He now realizes that Obi, who dreads primaries, desires a consensus that benefits him alone—a philosophy seemingly ingrained in his DNA. In street parlance, it is called 'Me only, nobody else' or 'I before anybody else'. Obi is a very selfish politician. He cannot build a political party. He goes to where other people have toiled to cook the soup and takes the biggest meat in the pot. Gbajue politician of this era! x.com/Imranmuhdz/sta…

'ADC is a condemned vehicle', declares Rep. Leke Abejide in a TVC interview. "I have decided to change the broken bricks in the ADC and become a cornerstone in a better political party with a strong structure that will benefit my people,” he told a news conference earlier. No wonder the desperate political nomads, Peter Obi and others, are preparing to 'Japa' to another SPV.

His body is at the mortuary and the family have been told that whenever they want to see it, they will be allowed to. However its a case of suspected murder, so autopsy is compulsory and the family also agreed to this. Thank you
