In honor of 2-22-22, we tried to identify the two-year old pictures of our classmates. Ms. Abel’s ancient picture was easy to spot! 😂 ⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩

It’s the 100th day of school ⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩! This is perseverance at its finest. We struggled to design foil boats that would hold 100 pennies. Who knew giving each group their own container of water would make this STEAM challenge a success!

This week ⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩, Ms. Abel’s class learned about matter. We really can change a liquid into a solid!

This week ⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩, we read, The Pigeon Wants a Puppy. These first grade friends are constructing free standing doghouses (Some are walrus houses! 😂) for their animals!

This week ⁦⁦⁦⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩ we have been reading Frog and Toad stories and collecting data. We made great connections by making origami frogs and collecting data from three frog races! Can you figure out our different frog races?

Today ⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩, we worked together to create /ai/ and /ay/ words with a new game called, Boggle!

There’s a lot of snow ⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩, so why not try to figure out how to waterproof our valentines? We tested several materials and found out foil and Saran Wrap do the trick! ❤️

This week ⁦@EdgewoodPrimary⁩, we have been learning about the events that happen to bring food from the farm to the table. This includes Apple pie! We practiced sequencing to make Apple pie in a cup!

Happy 100th day @EdgewoodPrimary! To celebrate, we designed and constructed bridges that would hold 100 pennies!
